Do I need to install anything?
No. We send a link that opens straight in your browser, on a phone, tablet or laptop. There is no app, no account and no download. If you can open a web page, you can do the survey.
How long does it take?
Around 20 to 30 minutes for a typical two or three bedroom home. Larger properties, offices and jobs with a storage unit take longer, and we will tell you the estimate when you book rather than surprising you on the day.
What if my connection drops mid-survey?
Nothing is lost. Every item is saved to your inventory as it is logged, not at the end, so we pick up from the room we were in. If the connection is poor throughout, we can finish the remaining rooms on a second short call.
How accurate is the quote, really?
It is calculated from an itemized inventory, where each item carries its own volume and weight and those roll up per room and per location. That is a very different thing from someone estimating a house from the doorway. You get the full list, so anything that looks wrong can be corrected before the price is fixed.
Is the call recorded, and who can see it?
Yes, the survey is recorded so the team planning your move can refer back to it, and so we can settle any question about what was counted. Access is limited to staff working on your job.
What about my storage unit and my garage?
They are part of the same job. A survey can cover several locations, each with its own rooms, and the totals roll up across all of them so the quote reflects everything that is actually moving.
Can I change things after the call?
Yes. Items can be added, adjusted or removed after the survey and the totals recalculate. The latest we can take changes is the day before the move, so the quote can be revised and the dispatch team notified in time to assign the right size truck and crew.
Do you handle office, military and international moves?
Yes. Homes, offices, storage, military, COD and international relocations are all surveyed the same way. International moves lean on the volume figures more heavily, which is exactly what this process produces.
